Challenges & Goals
HW Maxi felt that their website was outdated and need an update. Their main users are males aged 30-50 years old so, while they wanted it to look fresh it still needed to be easy to understand and give their target audience the information they were looking for.
The main goal was to make the website look more vibrant and modern as to make users want to read information and learn more about their product.
A Refreshed Look
HW Industries has been setting the standard in earthmoving equipment in New Zealand for over 60 years.
HW Industries is a general engineering shop that specializes in earthmoving Maxi Scrapers for farmers and contractors, and who also can do repairs and maintenance and customization on any items you need around the home and farm.
During the time I was working for HW Industries, I worked on refreshing the Trailers section of their site.  Their previous web pages were extremely text based, with large chunks of text covering most of the pages.
I aimed to work on conveying the information their customers wanted with less text and clutter and more imagery, thus creating a more vibrant and modern look.
